ACCESS ADA HAYDEN:  A committee of SRP members led an effort to bring an ADA - compliant canoe and kayak launch and dock to Ada Hayden Park.  Learn more about the accessible launch and dock on Facebook at AccessAdaHayden.

The Great Ames Adventure Race (GAAR)! Held on the first Sunday following Labor Day, the paddlers co-sponsored this race beginning with the inaugural Red Cross event in 2007 and have continued to support the Ames Jaycees since they took over the event in 2022. Race proceeds supported fifteen local nonprofits and projects during our close involvement.
